The soul-filled voice on this is so dry it’s thirsty.
The accompanying sounds are gritted with bootprints and road-dust.
This is vintage stuff… With hope buried deep in its heart and a walnut jangle cutting right across its rhythm.
A rolling country-blues number flecked with longing, nostalgia and even a tiny bit of regret.
Sweet, caring and modest rock sounds, characterized by a rough, smoky voice and plenty of hobo willingness.
