With minimal percussion and a void that is hard to ignore… This video has amazing animation by New York artist Lauren Gregory [http://laurengregory.net/].
Free beats and plenty of gaps in the bedding allow the soft voice adequate space to fully flex and spread out in languor.
Oddly enough, this also has a twang to it. Like listening to Johnny Cash singing to a line of crystalline synthpop.
