Canadian blues, soul, & rock guitarist / singer-songwriter MARCUS TRUMMER has released a new single titled “Hard Time” (music vido shared below.)
It’s the third single taken from the musician’s hotly anticipated debut studio album, titled From The Start. The album, is to be released by Gypsy Soul Records on Friday 15th November 2024
“Hard Time is about the fact that love is ultimately what matters and is what we need to be aimed at spreading,” says Trummer.
“Our world is truly a crazy and chaotic place, with what feels like endless division, conflict, and tragedy. With all the pain and suffering out there, I believe love is the only answer. It can be easy to forget when you’re caught up in the daily grind of it all, but it truly is everything and I try to keep that in mind.”

The composition is adorned with bittersweet guitar rinds of regret, yet the piano’s tumbling delivery and the robust bass notes quickly bring calm and comfort to any slashes of anxiety present in the lyric.
Since the overall messaging of this delightful song is celebrating our shared ‘n’ blessed fortunes, the vocal is comforting, while the chorus is redemptive. It’s a song of sensitive confidence and greathearted assurance.
