By the age of seventeen guitar prodigy QUINN SULLIVAN had already shared stages with Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Los Lobos, The Roots, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and Joe Bonamassa.
He opened for B.B. King, who later invited him to play his treasured “Lucille” guitar
The New Bedford, Massachusetts singer and guitarist began taking guitar lessons at age three and appeared on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show aged six.
His third studio album “Midnight Highway ” ( produced by multi GRAMMY® winner Tom Hambridge) will be released on March 24th in the UK/Europe.
In anticipation, the track “She Gets Me” has been released.
We had a listen:
This is saturated with splendid guitar-work right from the start, as the progressively increasing psychological force is dynamically imprinted on the mood of the listener.
The voice is very-much in the style of blue-eyed soul … though it isn’t long before a red-hot 70’s sounding guitar-break shakes things up.
Yes, the sentiment might be wide-eyed and trusting, but do not forget that Quinn is a teenager. And this world still feels new to him …
