The Italian duo Michele Ducci + Alessandro Degli Angeli, were the winners of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition – guaranteed a slot at West Holts Stage this year – playing along with MIA, Goldfrapp and Diclosure to name a few.
They also played a secret show in the backstage bar after Bryan Ferry’s performance on the Saturday night and The Rabbit Hole on the final evening.

‘When’ is set for release on 4th August via Monotreme Records and is taken from last years ‘These Days.’
Released in September, the M+A album cleverly combines sunny dance-pop and relaxed European electronic vibrations with luxurious touches of soul.
“When” has been remixed with mysterious London trio Is Tropical and fellow Italians Aatlas providing their own re-works of the original.
We checked out the ‘Is Tropical’ remix of ‘When’:-
A series of hypnic jerks, and associated tinkering shots, form the military quick-step parts of this piece.
The voices mutter – almost like a series of bellow-woofs, groans and grunts.
Then a low elastic bass coils itself out from the worm-hole of dizzy sounds – like a dying snake.
It takes a little while for the clink of the bottle-cap tops and the tapping of the skins to fall into order and begin their rapid trot.
But when they all do… this all comes together like a crunchy hip- soup served in a snazzy fruity bowl.
