Tides From Nebula are a Polish instrumental post-rock band formed in 2008 in Warsaw.
This October 2nd sees the release of their third album entitled “Eternal Movement”. The first song to be revealed from the album is ‘Only With Presence’ which is available right now on video.
Of the track Maciej Karbowski, (guitars and keyboards) says:
“It all started with a twisted guitar riff. I took it to the rest of the band, we played around with it for a while and out it came. We use a synthesizer bass for the first time, we loved the sound, so tasty… It’s definitely one of the best quicker tracks on the album, I love the way it builds to something with real intensity.”

We had a listen to ‘Only With Presence’. Here’s what we thought:
Sharply twisting fuzz-sounds ache to greet the listener in the opening moments. But, like a warm wrapped galette – the hot innards flan out and linger. Their dripping, scalding, treacly entrails burning deep into your skin.
Drums are a network of small glittering specks – tiny movements – like startled marine snow.
And into these sounds are sent spinning – and writhing – a commotion of pin-pointed, silvery eel-like ringlets.
These wriggle and contort like morays in a heated pot.
This track is a delightful tracery of sounds and textures.
